Dr. kady cisse
Dr. Kady Cissé was born in Quebec. She moved to Winnipeg at a young age, where she spent the rest of her childhood. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in 2002, and went on to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Université de Montréal in 2008.
Dr Cissé is fluent in both French and English and practices all aspects of general dentistry. She takes pride in building long lasting relationships with her patients and educating them on the importance of oral health.
She loves to further her knowledge by regularly attending continuing education classes in order to offer her patients high quality care. She is known for her relatable and genuine chairside manners.
When she is not busy with patient-care, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is the proud mother of two sons & Winston, the most adorable mini golden-doodle.
Dr. Cissé also practices in Winnipeg, Manitoba at Lumi Dental.
Dr. Jacob Davis
Dr. Jacob Davis is a BC transplant. Jacob grew up in Victoria, BC and obtained his bachelors of science in chemistry from the University of Victoria in 2019.
Jacob then graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2024 with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, Jacob practiced in Prince Rupert, BC (the rainiest city in Canada) and practiced for 2 years before moving to Selkirk. He is excited for this next chapter working at Selkirk Crossing dental!
Jacob enjoys making sure every patient is comfortable and creating positive environments while in the dental office. Jacob enjoys all aspects of general dentistry while focusing on patient centred treatment plans with a focus on preventative dentistry.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys camping, board games, and playing Fortnite.
dr. christine kveder
Dr. Christine Kveder graduated in 2010 from the University of Manitoba where she received her DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry). She was born in Winnipeg but grew up in Calgary and returned here for university. She loved Manitoba so much that she decided to stay after graduation.
She loves the weather, culture, people and restaurants here. To her, Manitoba is the best keep secret in Canada.
Dr. Kveder has a special interest in neuromodulators for therapeutic and esthetic purposes (i.e. botox) and is PTIFA trained. If you suffer from TMD (jaw pain), migraines or headaches, she would be happy to discuss treatment options with you. She is also CDI trained for bone grafting and implant surgery.
Her gentle nature and sense of humour always puts her patients at ease.
She's an avid animal lover and cherishes her relationships with people and animals alike. She spends her free time with her husband Steve and their two kids.
Dr. Kveder also practices part-time in Winnipeg, Manitoba at Lumi Dental.
Dr. Haynes Yuan
Dr. Haynes (Shek Hei) Yuan was born in Hong Kong SAR, China, and moved to Canada at age 18 to pursue his undergraduate studies at the University of Manitoba. He earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Integrative Physiology, followed by a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Therapeutics, conducting his laboratory research at CancerCare Manitoba. He later obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry [B.Sc. (Dent)] from the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Haynes is committed to providing efficient, patient-centred care built on clear communication. He welcomes questions and open discussions, believing that listening to patients and understanding their concerns are essential to building trusting relationships. He offers care in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
With a calm and thoughtful approach, Dr. Haynes enjoys many aspects of dentistry, with particular interests in prosthodontics (restoring and replacing teeth), endodontics (root canal treatment), and minor oral surgery. His broad clinical interests help him take a well-rounded approach to each patient’s care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Haynes enjoys badminton, fishing, and creative pursuits such as sculpting and jewellery making. These hobbies reflect his appreciation for both precision and artistry, qualities he also brings to his work in dentistry.
